I Will Never Forget the Day We Moved

I will never forget the day we moved. It was almost 40 years ago today. My mom got another job in the country. We have lived in the city our entire lives, so this was a huge change for us. The year was 1972. It seemed like they were still many new types of music, my mom hated all of them. I was kind of excited for this move, but I was also very numerous. This was my senior year in high school. It was supposed to be the best year of my life. I have known these people since I was in kindergarten, so I was very sad to leave. My mom said that I would find all new friends, and I would still have the best year of my life in our new state. We were moving to the country, so I heard that all the country people are usually very friendly.
We hired nyc movers to do all of our moving. We did have a lot of money, so spending money on the best movers was definitely an option. They were very professional when they came. We had everything boxed, all they had to do was carry our stuff from our house to the moving van. Back then, there were not as many large moving vehicles to use. This would require more trips to get everything to the destination. When the men were moving, they were very gentle with all of our belongings. I was watching them, because I heard that sometimes movers will steal your stuff. I do not want this to happen which is why I was watching them. The movers nyc did a great job getting everything to the vehicles. It took far less time than I thought it would take. They were able to move everything in only one hour.
